NDL-101

One of the first candidates identified from the AmpikaPhytobase™ is NDL-101. It is a pain relief medicine in an over the counter natural product formulation. NDL-101's efficacy is apparent from phase II trials undertaken by NeuroDiscovery Ltd.

Ampika is seeking further collaborating partners to commercialise plant formulations from among the 500 plants in the AmpikaPhytobase™. Of these candidate plants, 300 are detailed and cross-checked and, of these, 150 are verified taxonomically. In-depth understanding of the medicinal use of these plants by local indigenous experts assists Ampika in identifying how to apply these natural medicines in a global market. Experts state that over 50% of prescription drugs are derived from chemicals first identified in plants. Potential collborating partners are encouraged to contact Ampika to discuss opportunities for partnerships.
